Course Objectives:
Students will learn: Chinese Medical Theory I, Acupuncture Theory, Safety, How to apply Acupuncture needles, Acupuncture Point location on the body, Functions of Acupuncture points, Treatment principles of treatments, Treatment methods, TCM Methodology and treatment of Patients.
Student clinicals with an instructor-supervisor are to be arranged with each student at his/her pace, and according to the availability of patients at the Oklahoma Healing Arts Institute. For students coming from out of town to stay for the weekend course, clinicals can be arranged on Fridays and/or Mondays. 105 hours of clinicals should be concluded within a 36 months period of instruction. Completion within 12 months will be allowed if necessary.
