Contact Hours: 20 (2.5 hours per class, 1 class per week for 7 weeks & 1 Saturday field trip or as arranged with the instructor). Prerequisites: A solid command of the English language is required. Courses can be taken individually and in any order to suit your learning needs. Tuition: $425.00 (includes listed books).
Course Objective: This Certificate Program delves into both Western and Eastern nutritional perspectives, examining their benefits and limitations. The curriculum emphasizes the significance of holistic nutrition across all aspects of life. The objective of this program is to deepen the understanding of holistic nutrition and effective dietary therapies. Students will explore the application of specific nutritional components to enhance bodily health. Guided by the Naturopathic principle, "Food should be your medicine and your medicine should be your food," participants will learn accessible natural holistic health concepts that can be easily applied and communicated to others. Upon completion of this course, students will earn a Certificate in Holistic Nutritional Consultation (HNC), empowering them to support themselves, their families, communities, or clients. This certificate can serve as a foundation for graduates looking to establish a Community Holistic Wellness practice.
